The Downtown Business Association is a volunteer organization made up of representatives from downtown businesses. The mission of the DBA is to unite downtown business, promoting one another's businesses and Downtown Mount Airy as a whole.
Downtown business members pay $125 in annual dues to help support the marketing efforts and events hosted by the DBA.
The DBA partners with Mount Airy Downtown, Inc. and other community organizations to promote the small businesses within the downtown district.
Events hosted by the DBA include: Downtown Fashion Shows, Artwalks, Sidewalk Sales, Mayberry Farm Fest & Tractor Parade, The Mayberry Cool Cars & Rods Cruise-In Series, Independence Day Parade and Festivities, Comic-Con, Downtown Trick-or-Treat & Halloween Celebration, Ladies Night Out, The Christmas Parade, and the Holiday Open House.
